Training doesn’t only happen during scheduled sessions. Throughout your dog’s stay, learning is woven naturally into their day. Morning routines, meals, walks, downtime, car rides, outings, and time spent relaxing in the home all become opportunities to practice the skills and habits we’re building.

Living and training in a real home environment also gives your dog opportunities to experience the kinds of interactions they’ll encounter in everyday life. When appropriate for your dog, this may include other dogs, adults, children, new environments, and everyday distractions—always introduced thoughtfully and based on your dog’s individual needs, comfort, and training goals.

Rather than learning behaviors only during designated training sessions, your dog gets repeated opportunities to practice communication, manners, confidence, and reliability throughout the day. As they progress, we’ll gradually introduce new environments, distractions, and experiences while continuing to reinforce the foundations they’re building at home.

The goal isn’t simply a dog who performs well during training. It’s a dog who is better prepared to bring those skills home and use them where they matter most—in your everyday life together.

Designed for dogs navigating behavioral challenges that require more time, individualized support, and thoughtful exposure. Through six weeks of immersive training, we’ll work to better understand your dog’s behavior, strengthen communication, build confidence, and develop more productive responses to the situations they find difficult.

Your dog’s Immersion stay is only part of the journey. The progress they make while living and training with me needs to translate back into your home, your routines, and your relationship together.

That’s why every Immersion Program includes hands-on owner education and continued support. You’ll have the opportunity to learn how your dog has been trained, practice the communication and skills we’ve built, and understand how to maintain their progress once they’re home.

With a midway lesson, two private follow-up lessons, and three group classes, you won’t be left trying to figure everything out on your own. We’ll continue working together as you and your dog adjust, build consistency, and begin using those skills in your everyday life.

Because a successful Board & Train isn’t just about what your dog can do with me—it’s about what you and your dog can do together.
